The heart of Miracle's 2009 Parade of Homes "Little-Big House" model is the huge, light-filled great room. At nearly 29 ft. x 30 ft. (including the computer center/pocket office) in size, this Tom Hignite original design proves that big things really can come in small packages! Features include direct view to television, windows, and fireplace from nearly every conceivable furnishing position including from the efficient front pocket office.
This home is arguably the most "Green Home" in this years "all-Green" parade. That is because it is the smallest overall size thusly saving materials from our eco-system. Equally as important is the ground-breaking new concept of "natural light transference". Instead of needing to use electric light of any kind, nearly ever room has found a way to transfer the natural light from the adjoining room into the next room. This means that even rooms which have no outside walls in which to place windows can enjoy at least some natural light thanks to the idea of utilizing room-to-room windows. These windows are such that you can not see through them (which provides privacy) so a room which enjoys abundant window lighting can now shed light into otherwise windowless rooms. When you are at the Parade, take our cool challenge. We are running a most efficient form of air-conditioning that you will not find in any other Parade model. Despite it's high efficiency and eco-friendly running, on a hot day we challenge you to find a cooler temperature home in the whole Parade.
Notice the nearly 10 inch high baseboards, granite countertops, unique cabinets that are sunken into the walls to give you more counter-top space ,two-tone wood floors , a no-step front entry (again, the only one in the Parade), rubber gasket floor systems, an inspirational get-away play and reflection loft, and a host of other Miracle exclusive "inventions" through-out the home.
